The Process
30 minutes)Our process is a simple one. Vitamin E oil is applied to the lips which helps moisturize throughout the process. Then a prefilled tray is placed in the mouth which allows our advanced laser whitening light to reach the entire smile. The client is then reclined back in our chair and the light is applied to the tray. After 25 minutes the tray is removed, the client rinses and the process repeats.we repeats. During this time you can relax while watching your favorite tv show or movie on our big screen tv or even listen to your favorite podcast or music.
The Cost
Striking Smiles provides competitively priced teeth whitening services. We offer both full and touch up whitening sessions dependent on your need. A full (1 hour visit) is recommended for initial appointments and is just $239. Touch up sessions are only $120 and are perfect for helping maintain your brighter, whiter smile. Am I a Candiate For Whitening?
The vast majority of people who want to achieve a brighter smile can whiten their teeth. However, clients with untreated decay or uncontrolled periodontal disease may not be suited for whitening until these issues are treated.
How White Can I Expect To Get:
Everyone's enamel is different and your results will depend on variety of factors such as the porosity of your teeth, your current shade, and treatment time. To maximize the effectiveness of your visit we recommend all clients begin their treatment with a full 1 hour session where they can expect an improvement of 4-6 shades.
Does The Process Whiten Existing Dental Work?
Stains can be removed from preexisting dental work such as crowns, veneers, implants and bridges however it cannot lighten them beyond their original color.
We recommend that if you are having any of these procedures done you consider whitening your teeth first so your dental provider can properly color match your restorations.
Is Teeth Whitening Safe?
What makes Striking Smiles unique is our use of a revolutionary teeth whitening process. We utilize a natural plant and mineral based gel. Our product also contains potassium nitrate, an effective anti-sensitivity which allows even those with sensitive teeth to whiten.This combined with our state-of-the art LED Light, allows you to safely whiten in record time!
How Long Will It Last?
How long your whitening treatment will last depends on a variety of lifestyle factors such as diet, tobacco use and oral hygiene. Many clients who whiten their teeth can go a year or more between visits. Others prefer to do a touch up session every few months in order to to maintain their most striking smile. Because our product is safe and natural clients are free to whiten at their discretion.
Will My Teeth Be Sensitive Afterwards?
The vast majority of clients will experience no sensitivity with our whitening services, if any sensitivity is experienced it's usually minor and typically resolves within 24 hours.
If needed clients can opt to have a desensitizing treatment at the end of their session for a nominal cost.
What Should I Do and NOT Do After My Whitening Visit?
*DO drink plenty of water after your visit, this helps rehydrate the teeth and reduce sensitivity.
*DON'T consume heavily pigmented foods for 24 hours. Examples of foods to avoid include tomato sauce, coffee, tea, dark colas, red wine, red meat, and darkly colored vegetables.
Things like chicken, potatoes, white wine, clear sodas, cheese, and white sauces such as Alfredo are fine. Remember it is only for 24 hours and worth it to achieve your brightest smile.
*DO brush gently with a soft tooth bush and use only white toothpaste. Avoid colored mouthwashes during this time.
*DON'T Smoke or chew tobacco for a minimum of two hours after treatment
*DO moisturize lips liberally (your take home bag includes an aloe vera based chapstick and lip mask)
*DON'T forget that when your smile needs a refresher we offer 1/2 hour maintenance sessions. This helps keep your smile as striking as the day you first whitened.
